Resumi
A web app for creating resumes, managing different versions
of the document and submitting it
to employers.
Introduction
Resumi is a web app that helps people build impressive and creative resumes, whether they have graphic skills or not, quickly and free, which will help them stand out among the many candidates submitting resumes for jobs in the hi-tech and creative worlds.
Resumi offers users the most relevant design templates, gives them tips during the writing,
and later allows them to manage all the versions they have created.
Problem & Needs
On the way to applying for various jobs, candidates will encounter challenges at two main points in time:
Creating Resume
Creating an impressive and professional resume, a complex process that takes a long time.
Submitting Applications
Involves adjusting versions of the resumes for the different jobs, sending them to different employers and managing the follow-up of all the versions.
From the market research I conducted, it seemed that there are no online tools that provide an answer to these two challenges, and that the existing free tools offer a limited service of creating designed resumes.

Convenience and ease in entering the details,
it should take as little time and effort as possible
Creating striking resumes
without the need for design skills
Management of several CVs
Sending a link to potential employers
and keeping track of it
My Solution
The Process
After neatly laying out the requirements and objectives,
I mapped the potential users of the product, to understand their needs and characteristics.

I then created a user flow diagram, and made an empathy map that would help me understand the meeting points between the users and the product, and their emotional state at each of these launch points.

Accordingly, I created a wire-flow diagram
and a navigational model.
The Model
I designed a model that includes two areas:
Creating Resumes
The user will be able to write all parts of the document, while receiving guidance and tips.
In the second stage, the application will assist in choosing the most suitable design template for him, based on the details he filled in earlier.
The user is also free to filter and choose from the variety of templates available in the application.
Version Management
The user will be able to see in the application, in an orderly way, all the versions of his resume and the status of each of them: for which employer it is intended, whether it is already shared, whether the employer viewed it and whether he has received a reply from the employer.

Landing Page
The landing page is a scrollable long page, made up of different section.
Each section contains a different reason to use our application.
Create Resume
Registered users can write and edit their resume's details in a structured format, while receiving explanations
and tips related to the step they are in,
from the application's experts.
The application accompanies the user and supports him during writing. It aims to give him a sense of
self-confidence and self-worth that may stick with him later in the job search process.
Choosing A Template
In the template selection stage, the application will ease the user by presenting the most relevant templates, based on the details and work experience he filled
in the previous step.
In addition, the application will offer the user filters that can help him find the template that best suits him:
Favorites, suitability for profession, dominant color,
style and more..
User's Profile
In the user profile area, the user receives an organized and clear picture of the versions he created and their current status: to which employers the version was sent, which of them viewed it and who returned a reply.

There he can perform all the functions required to manage the versions:
Adding, deleting, editing, sending to the employer as a link or as a Word document.
I also added options for duplicating and downloading as a PDF or Word document, to optimize version management.
Conclusion
In Resumi I tried to apply good UX practices to help a person looking for a job in the hi-tech or creative industry
to stand out, without too much effort, whether or not they have special design skills.

In today's world with the best demand for hi-tech professions, the market is flooded with job seekers
and it is difficult to stand out in it. I hope that a product like this can help those who want to stand out so that when an employer receives their resume - he will immediately know that he has a winning candidate.
